Sharjah based Al Muqqaram (“AMI”) Group is one of the largest manufacturers of Sealants, Adhesives, Industrial Tapes and PU Foam in the Middle East. The company has two production facilities (in Sharjah and Umm al Quain) and a trading arm in Dubai.

Rationale

The 100% acquisition of AMI allows Soudal to have a manufacturing base in the strategically important location of the UAE, from where AMI / Soudal products can be sold to the Middle East region and Africa.

Soudal

Turnhout, Belgium based Soudal is one of the biggest independent producers of silicone and caulks (silicone, polyurethane, marine sealants, acrylics), polyurethane-foams, and adhesives in Europe. The company has a turnover of almost USD 1 billion.
